GALVESTON, Texas – Galveston Island State Park will reopen its beachfront part to the general public on June 27 following the completion of a serious redevelopment challenge that started in the summertime of 2019.
Enhancements to the park embrace a brand new important park constructing, two new restrooms and renovation of an current restroom, new roads, 95 new campgrounds, two new altering amenities and rinse showers, 20 new shade shelters within the day space and a seasonal equestrian space, introduced the Texas Parks and Wildlife Division in a launch.
